It’s finally happening.
Moments ago, Governor Steve Sisolak (D) issued a proclamation kicking off the much anticipated 32nd Special Session of the Nevada Legislature. As expected, Sisolak’s proclamation includes the direction for the Legislature to address matters of voting rights and election protection, social justice and criminal justice reform, workplace safety and corporate legal liability “relief”, the ongoing crisis in the state’s unemployment system, and how the judicial system handles eviction cases. In addition, Sisolak’s proclamation includes the possibility of revisiting 2019’s SB 161, which loosened rules on financial activities involving cryptocurrencies.
