Mesquite PD Arrest Three Counterfeiting

Mesquite, NV –  On 04/18/2020 Mesquite Police Officers arrested four  suspects for alleging attempting to pass counterfeit $100 bills at two local grocery stores.  

At approximately 10:56 on the 18th, Mesquite Police Officers apprehended two suspects who allegedly attempted to purchase items from a local grocery store using counterfeit $100 bills. Officers and a Detective found multiple counterfeit bills in their possession. 

Investigators later apprehended two other counterfeit bill passing suspects at another grocery store.

All four suspects were charged with; One felony count of possession with the intent to utter a fictitious bill and one felony count of burglary.

The four suspects were identified as; Robert William Gerlach, 55, of Covina CA, Isela Rojas, 40, of Monterey Park CA, Robert William Bates, 53, of Upland CA, and Nina Denise Sicuranzo, 36, of Rancho Cucamonga CA.

All four suspects were transported and booked into the Clark County Detenction Center in Las Vegas,. NV.

Mesquite Detectives are working with surrounding law enforcement agencies to determine the suspects’ possible involvement in other counterfeiting crimes.
