Big Sur, continued

Yes, there’s even more to Big Sur. When you think of that place where the mountains meet the sea, you may be thinking of here.

And wait, there’s more! SLO down to see it.

Big Sur more or less ends at Ragged Point at the northern tip of San Luis Obispo (SLO) County, but that doesn’t mean our coastal road trip has to end there.

There’s so much more to see, from the rugged coast at Ragged Point to the enchanted forests of Cambria to the sun-kissed vineyards of Paso Robles.

Of course, there’s no place like home. But wait, let’s make one more stop at my old stomping grounds.

So I had to do one more day to stop at one of my all-time favorite places, especially during this time of the year. There’s no bad time to visit Laguna Beach in Orange County, but this place really comes alive during the summer. Don’t believe me? See for yourself here.

On this note, and as I’m writing this at the airport, it’s time to come home. I know that. And I’ve been missing you, as well as missing our work here. But before we get back to our heavier content next week, I just want to leave you with one final enchanting moment. Enjoy the weekend, enjoy the summer while you can, and come on back soon so we can discuss what’s happening in the world and what we can do about it.
